Lo Drap Pintat checks every product thoroughly before shipment. Lo Drap Pintat respects scrupulously the current textile dressmaking guidelines established by the Administration. According to our possibilities, we require our suppliers the maximum respect for environmental matters and for health and safety at work. We are completely against unfair trade relationships between developed and developing countries, and the products of unfair trade companies will never be included in our catalogue.

Care instructions for your T-shirts

In a T-shirt the price is not important. We ourselves are compulsive consumers of T-shirts, whether in summer (short-sleeved) or winter (long-sleeved, except if you do not follow the care instructions). Our T-shirts are of 100%  cotton, with a weight between 160 and 200 gm. Some of them might have a percentage of other components (i.e. polyester), which is specified at the t-shirt label.

The treatment of our T-shirts increases strenght of cotton, so we can affirm they do not shrink or loose shape. However, will shrink if care is not taken with washing and drying (follow wash care instructions).

• Silk-Screen Printing or Serigraphy. Stenciling techniques were already used in the ancient Egypt. The modern screenprinting techniques require a screen for each of the colours of the original frame. The more colours we print, the more screens will be required, and consequently the cost of the final product increases. Nevertheless, the quality of serigraphy guarantees the colours durability and permanence over all the other printing systems.

• Plastisol Transfers. . It consists in using the serigraphy process but printing on special siliconed paper instead of textile. After a heat application it is possible to transfer the design to the textile using industrial ironing. The life of the product is longer than serigraphy products. This option is only for bulk orders.

• Textil Vinyl. It consists in the application of a special and scarcely perceptible plastic product (vinyl) on the cotton textile. This vinyl is resistent and flexible. Before printing, a plotter draws and cuts away the vinyl, which is transferred on t-shirt using ironing. This product offers a big strenght, and is mostly used in monochrome drawings.

Your t-shirt must be washed inside out and never at more than 30º C. Spin drying and direct exposure to sunlight during drying tends to make clothes lumpy.

Iron the t-shirt inside out (in other case, the print will be in your iron!).

Read the clothing labels carefully.
